These socks would probably work beautifully for the average person! I have Post-Polio Syndrome, which causes extreme coldness in my feet. I have used 100% polypropylene socks in the past, which worked a bit better for me. The socks are good fitting, nicely elastic, and, as mentioned, almost keep my feet warm. I'm sure they will be an excellent choice for others.Janine Hunt-JacksonI have purchasesd Strideline before when they only had black socks and I wanted some navy blue socks this time. But, these were not navy blue. They were more if a medium blue.Also, if they could make the letters indicating R & L designating which foot the sock goes on in a color different from the sock, it would be much easier to see them. On the black socks there is a red line running around the top, so red would be a good color. I do love my black socks and if they make some exactly like the original black socks, I would buy them.These socks are thicker than most. I use them for tennis. This particular color was much less expensive than other colors. As I wear a brace over the socks the color is not important to me.Very good fit
