My kiddo wears these socks even in the summer. They are very soft and have held up through washing just fine. The kitties are cute too!Really thick sock and good for keeping little otes warm in the winterKids like them, comfy, but they shrink up quite a bit. Maybe buy a size up!First of all, these are not 100% wool, so just be aware of what you are purchasing. (They would be much more expensive if they were 100% wool, so you’re not being ripped off.) I love these socks. They are very soft and cozy on the inside, and they’re super stretchy. I wear a size 9.5 women’s, and I can actually stretch them over my foot! (But they fit my 3 year old daughter perfectly) As others have mentioned, they do pill in the wash. So if you want them for pictures or a special occasion, don’t pre-wash. They do not have any weird smell, and I didn’t have a problem letting my daughter wear a pair straight out of the box. (But I still pre-washed the others because I just think that’s best practice.) Ultimately, it would be better if they didn’t pill, but they’re great comfy socks, and we love them. They keep my daughter’s feet toasty warm. We will probably order more next year.So i bought those for my 10 year old girl.They are very warm thick, not scratchy on the inside but they run small. She is wearing size 4 big girls and 6 women's shoes. These are small for her and they slip off her feet.These are perfect for small skiers. Thick enough to protect little feet from the elements and they’re soft on the inside.I bought these socks for my 3 year old. She hates to have a blanket on, so I wanted something warmer for her feet at night. We both love them!! They're well made, and warm!! I wasn't expecting to like these as much as I did. In fact, as soon as my daughter put these on, I ordered another set (the ones with the hearts.)Very nice socks /comfy too my daughter is in love with them since she’s a unicorn fan?, However after a full day we are inside the house they came out looking like this.Beautiful and thick socks for winter. Had a look at many options but these seemed the best for colour, pattern and price.I always wash before wearing, and was very pleased to see how well they came out.My daughter loves the colours and cat faces!Great buy, would recommend.Overall I am really happy with these socks that I bought for my daughter.
